On Saturday April 30th, Acordis International was present supporting the U.S. Sugar 3rd annual J. Nelson Fairbanks Tournament. This year’s event was extra special since a personalized rock monument was unveiled and dedicated to J. Nelson Fairbanks -retired CEO of US Sugar, making him not only delighted; but overjoyed with tears. Mr. Fairbank gave a very passionate heartfelt speech to the executives, staff and vendors that were part of the tournament. Over the past three years, the tournament has raised more than $100,000 for city of Clewiston’s recreational programs.

US Sugar is a family of companies also known as Southern Gardens Citrus that produces 90 million gallons of delicious orange juice annually, and South Central Florida Express that’s home to an independent short-line railroad that connects around Lake Okeechobee with mainline railroads at Sebring and Fort Pierce.
