26’ Oct’22: Acordis Technology & Solutions is a Florida-based Software Company that plays a very active role in supporting the community through it’s participation in local non-profits and ties with local community pillars such as Alonzo Mourning. 

For the 4th year as the Bag Sponsor, Acordis Technology & Solutions is participating in Zo’s celebrity golf classic benefiting the Overtown Youth Center and honey shine mentoring program.

The Overtown Youth Center (OYC) is a youth development program that provides comprehensive services to at-risk youth from kindergarteners to 25-year-olds and their families, all of whom live in some of the most underserved neighborhoods in South Florida. Honey Shine, Inc. is a mentoring program for girls that is designed to bridge academic, social, and emotional gaps through interactive sessions with professional women.

The fundraising event begins with a reception Sunday, January 15, 2023. On Monday, January 16, 2023, all foursomes will be paired with a celebrity player. Event registration opens at 7 am, and the shotgun start is at 9 am at the location of JW Marriot Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa in Aventura, FL.

Due to a successful Capital Campaign, OYC has raised over $20M for the complete renovation of the Overtown Youth Center. They anticipate the completion and opening of the new Overtown Youth Center facility by the end of 2022. The 2023 Zo’s Celebrity Golf Classic will serve as a perfect Kick-off to a series of Grand Opening fundraising events that will be taking place in 2023.
