Celebrating 30 Years of AIDA Cruises

Since the christening of its first ship in Warnemünde on June 7, 1996, AIDA has grown into one of the most recognized cruise brands in the world. What began with a single vessel has expanded into a fleet of eleven ships, welcoming millions of travelers seeking unforgettable vacations at sea.

To commemorate this milestone, AIDA is planning a series of celebrations throughout the year across its ships, online platforms, and on land. The grand finale will take place on June 7 in Hamburg, where AIDAperla, AIDAprima, and AIDAsol gather for a special birthday parade along the Elbe River.
