Behind every major shift in technology are leaders who have spent their careers building, scaling, and reimagining what’s possible.
At the Acordis Tech Summit 2026, we’re bringing those leaders into the room.
On October 1, Jaseem Masood, Founder of Ceburu, will join us to share his perspective on AI, intelligent infrastructure, and the evolution of modern IT — backed by a career spanning engineering leadership, entrepreneurship, successful acquisitions, and emerging technology.
From Engineering Innovation to Entrepreneurship
Long before founding Ceburu, Masood was helping build technologies that would become part of some of the industry’s most significant companies.
He previously served as Director of Engineering at Cerent, a networking company that was acquired by Cisco for $6.9 billion.
He later served as VP of Engineering at HarvestMark, which was privately acquired, continuing a career centered around building and scaling innovative technology.
Masood’s entrepreneurial experience extends beyond enterprise infrastructure. He co-founded Fenprice, a marketing event platform that was later acquired, and founded ZergID, a gaming platform that also went on to a successful acquisition.
Across these ventures, a common thread emerges: identifying where technology is headed and building for what comes next.
Now, He’s Building Ceburu
Today, Masood brings that experience to Ceburu, an AI-driven observability platform focused on helping organizations navigate increasingly complex digital environments.
Ceburu enables businesses across industries to leverage AI and AIOps to optimize network and application performance, with capabilities spanning network assessments, real-time monitoring, and AI-powered infrastructure management.
As organizations adopt more applications, infrastructure, devices, and digital services, IT environments are producing an extraordinary amount of information.
The challenge is no longer simply collecting that data. It’s understanding it. AI-driven observability represents a shift toward technology environments that can provide greater intelligence around their own performance — helping teams identify issues, understand relationships across systems, and make faster, more informed decisions.
Why His Perspective Matters Now
Artificial intelligence is quickly moving from experimentation into the operational core of the enterprise.
For technology executives, that creates a bigger question than simply, “How do we use AI?”
It’s about determining where AI can create meaningful operational value.
Masood brings an especially relevant perspective to that conversation because he has experienced multiple generations of technology transformation — from his engineering leadership at Cerent through today’s emergence of AI-powered infrastructure and observability.
At the Acordis Tech Summit, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from a builder who isn’t simply observing where enterprise technology is headed.
He’s working on what’s next.
Building the Next Generation of Technology Leaders
Masood’s work extends beyond the companies he builds.
He is also actively involved in supporting nonprofit organizations and giving back to future generations of technology leaders through mentorship and educational initiatives.
That commitment reflects another important part of innovation: ensuring the knowledge, experience, and opportunities created by today’s technology leaders help develop those who will build tomorrow’s.
